雕塑的類型之一。又稱淺雕、凸雕。是在具有背景性質(zhì)的實(shí)體平面上、雕出凸起的立體形象的雕刻藝術(shù)。因其依托于其他實(shí)體（如紀(jì)念碑、建筑物用具器物等），因此不能讓人環(huán)繞四周進(jìn)行全方位觀賞，而只有一個(gè)觀賞面。依照雕塑主體形象凸出厚度的不同，浮雕可分為高浮雕、低浮雕、薄浮雕3種，而鏤空底板的高浮雕稱為透雕。一些運(yùn)用壓縮、歸納、平處理的浮雕，又可分為單層次浮雕及多層次浮雕等形式和類別。因浮雕介于繪畫與圓雕之間，既能發(fā)揮歷史紀(jì)念性，又能起到裝飾作用，加上占居空間少，因此應(yīng)用范圍比較廣泛。中國原始社會(huì)器物上的線刻裝飾、商周至戰(zhàn)國的玉雕及青銅器上的立體圖案與裝飾造型、佛教石窟中的壁龕雕飾、唐代昭陵六定網(wǎng)站建設(shè) 伺服液位儀 防撞墻模具 唐山護(hù)欄 遮陽網(wǎng) 風(fēng)電基礎(chǔ)模具駿、現(xiàn)代天安門廣場人民英雄紀(jì)念碑浮雕，還有兩河流域王宮墻壁上表現(xiàn)戰(zhàn)爭和狩獵場面的浮雕、古希臘巴特農(nóng)神廟的裝飾浮雕，都是廣為人知的高、低型浮雕的實(shí)例。而像錢幣、獎(jiǎng)牌和紀(jì)念章之類使用的浮雕裝飾，因其凸起的形體幾乎和底版接近，則被歸人薄浮雕一類。浮雕藝術(shù)語言有著自己特殊的表現(xiàn)力，它廣泛利用體積變異、線條流動(dòng)、起位升降、光影處理等造成錯(cuò)覺，從而達(dá)到非常巧妙的藝術(shù)效果。浮雕壁畫、浮雕裝飾作為當(dāng)代公共藝術(shù)的一個(gè)組成部分，裝點(diǎn)出現(xiàn)代城市多彩的文化景觀。

Due to the fact that relief is between painting and circular sculpture, it can play a role in both historical commemoration and decoration, as well as occupying less living space, so its application range is relatively wide. The line carvings on the artifacts of Primitive Society in China, the jade carvings from the Shang and Zhou Dynasties to the Warring States Period and the three-dimensional patterns and decorative modeling on bronze ware, the niche carvings in Buddhist grottoes, the six steeds in Zhaoling of the Tang Dynasty, the reliefs on the Monument to the People's Heroes in Modern Tiananmen Square, the reliefs on the walls of the royal palaces in the two river basins showing the scenes of war and hunting, and the decorative reliefs on the Parthenon Temple in ancient Greece are all well-known examples of high and low relief carvings. Embossed decorations such as coins, medals, and commemorative medals are classified as thin reliefs due to their raised shapes almost resembling the base plate. The artistic language of relief has its own special expressive force. It widely uses volume variation, line flow, rising and falling, light and shadow processing to create illusion, so as to achieve a very clever artistic effect. Relief murals and relief decorations, as a component of contemporary public art, decorate the colorful cultural landscape of modern cities.
