漢白玉石雕雕塑常用的石料細(xì)分有以下幾種品種：

1、上等漢白玉
1. Superior White Marble
在房山一帶，當(dāng)?shù)厝送ǚQ三尺白，是在山體中下部形成的約為1m厚的漢白玉夾層。三尺白硬度很大，且色澤潔白而均勻，這一層的厚度最多也不過(guò)1m，上下就再?zèng)]有漢白玉的石材，開采難度很大，資源也很有限，整個(gè)山體為取這一層三尺白，上部都要全部開采清理，開采速度很慢，如要大量用料，應(yīng)盡早準(zhǔn)備購(gòu)置原料。

Sanchi white is very hard, and its color is white and uniform. The thickness of this layer is only 1m at most. There is no White Marble stone up and down. 房山白（根據(jù)地名而得名）色澤很白，但硬度很差，手用力搓都能磨碎。這種漢白玉表面看和三尺白區(qū)別不大，但其內(nèi)在硬度相差很遠(yuǎn)，價(jià)格區(qū)別也很大，因此雕塑家在選材時(shí)應(yīng)有一定的辨認(rèn)能力。
Fangshan White (named after the place name) has a very white color, but its hardness is poor, and it can be ground even by rubbing it hard with your hands. This kind of White Marble has little difference from Sanchi white on the surface, but its internal hardness is very different, and the price is also very different. Therefore, sculptors should have certain identification ability when selecting materials.
3、雪花白
3. Snow White
雪花白的表面具有片狀的結(jié)晶特征，且脆性很大，不宜雕刻過(guò)細(xì)的內(nèi)容，如人物雕塑活較小體量的石雕。河北曲陽(yáng)地區(qū)多以此石加工中國(guó)的傳統(tǒng)獅子。雪花白在曲陽(yáng)原料充足，但成型的石塊體量不是很大。
The snow-white surface has a flaky crystalline feature and is highly brittle, making it unsuitable to carve excessively fine content, such as character sculptures or smaller stone carvings. The Quyang area in Hebei Province often uses this stone to process traditional Chinese lions. Snow white has abundant raw materials in Quyang, but the volume of formed stones is not very large.
4、草白玉
4. Grass white jade
河北草白玉在曲陽(yáng)也很多，其表面色澤略發(fā)青，且有不規(guī)則的黃線狀，形狀類似草繩捆扎在白石上所留下的黃印子。故名草白玉。草白玉石質(zhì)堅(jiān)硬，如果雕塑所處的位置較高可選用草白玉。因其石料成本低，也是雕刻的常用理想材料。只是在選材時(shí)，要找有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的石工幫忙選料，防止在雕刻加工過(guò)程中在關(guān)鍵部位出現(xiàn)黃色線或斑塊。

Therefore, it is named Grass White Jade. Grass white jade has a hard texture. If the sculpture is located in a higher position, grass white jade can be chosen. When selecting materials, it is important to seek the help of experienced stone workers to prevent the appearance of yellow lines or patches in key areas during the carving process.
5、湘白玉
