曲陽(yáng)石雕，漢族民間雕刻藝術(shù)，是漢白玉大理石雕刻的代表。其造型逼真，手法圓潤(rùn)細(xì)膩，紋式流暢灑脫。據(jù)悉，在首都天安門廣場(chǎng)上，聳立著一座雄偉壯觀的人民英雄紀(jì)念碑。紀(jì)念碑下部展現(xiàn)中國(guó)人民革命斗爭(zhēng)畫卷的八幅浮雕，就是河北省曲陽(yáng)縣石雕藝人的杰作。
Quyang stone carving, the folk carving art of Han nationality, is the
representative of white marble carving. Its modelling is lifelike, the
technique is mellow and exquisite, the pattern is fluent and free and
easy. It is reported that in the capital Tian'anmen Square, there is a
magnificent monument to the people's heroes. The lower part of the
monument shows the eight relief paintings of the Chinese people's
revolutionary struggle, which are the masterpieces of stone carving
artists in Quyang County, Hebei Province.
曲陽(yáng)石雕的歷史可追溯到漢朝。相傳在西漢時(shí)期，劉秀被王莽追殺到曲陽(yáng)縣王臺(tái)北村南的山上，躲藏在草叢里。王莽放火燒山，想把劉秀燒死。劉秀的狗把周圍的草弄濕了，制止了烈火的蔓延，從而使劉秀得救，但狗卻累死了。后來(lái)劉秀打敗了王莽，找了當(dāng)?shù)厥袼嚾?，為狗建塔，以表昔日救命之恩。到了唐、宋時(shí)期，曲陽(yáng)石雕逐漸發(fā)展，及至清朝，就有了“天下咸稱曲陽(yáng)石雕”的盛名。在清朝末年巴拿馬舉行的世界石雕藝術(shù)賽會(huì)上，曲陽(yáng)石雕曾獲得世界第二名。曲陽(yáng)石雕有秀美雅致的效果，栩栩如生的飛禽走獸，以及神話故事，歷史故事，名勝古跡，古今人物等上百種傳統(tǒng)作品。河北省曲陽(yáng)縣是漢白玉雕刻藝術(shù)的故鄉(xiāng)。曲陽(yáng)大理石儲(chǔ)量大，質(zhì)地潔白晶瑩、經(jīng)久耐磨，是石雕的優(yōu)質(zhì)原料。
The history of Quyang stone carving can be traced back to the Han
Dynasty. It is said that in the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Xiu was chased
by Wang Mang to the south of Wangtai North Village in Quyang County and
hid in the grass. Wang Mang set fire to Liu Xiu. Liu Xiu's dog wetted
the grass around him, stopping the spread of the fire, so that Liu Xiu
was saved, but the dog was tired to death. Later, Liu Xiu defeated Wang
Mang and found a local stone carving artist to build a pagoda for the
dog to show his gratitude for saving lives in the past. In the Tang and
Song Dynasties, Quyang stone carving gradually developed, and in the
Qing Dynasty, it was known as "Quyang stone carving in the world". At
the world stone carving art competition held in Panama at the end of the
Qing Dynasty, Quyang stone carving once won the second place in the
world. Quyang stone carvings have beautiful and elegant effects,
lifelike birds and animals, as well as hundreds of traditional works
such as myths, historical stories, places of interest, ancient and
modern figures. Quyang County of Hebei Province is the hometown of white
jade carving art. Quyang marble reserves a large amount, white and
crystal clear texture, durable and wear-resistant, is a high-quality raw
material for stone carving.
